- The radial compressor draws in and compresses the air.
- The ACTE recuperator preheats that air with exhaust heat.
- The combustor burns the gas in a lean mixture.
- The radial turbine expands the gases and spins the shaft.
- The permanent magnet generator, on the same shaft, produces high-frequency power.
- Air bearings support the shaft without oil.
- Power electronics deliver 50/60 Hz to the grid or DC to the battery.

Inside the technology.
The combustor, high-speed generator and air bearings work together within a single-shaft, recuperated microturbine architecture.

Combustor
The combustion chamber receives compressed air preheated by the ACTE recuperator. Fuel combustion supplies the hot gas that drives the turbine.

High-speed generator
The high-speed permanent-magnet generator converts mechanical shaft power into electricity. It is integrated into the same rotating assembly as the compressor and turbine.

Air bearings
Air bearings support the high-speed shaft on a film of air rather than lubricating oil, forming part of the oil-free rotating architecture.
The image shows the related rotor assembly, not a close-up of the bearings.
